Group Meeting 1 Notes

In our first meeting we decided to create a film opening within the action genre. We wanted to have a chase sequence through a crowd with fast paced editing and dynamic shots ranging between CU's and establishing shots. However we soon found that this idea would be impractical due to the fact that we wouldn't be able to control the crowds reactions to the action and the result would be unreliable, potentially ruining our film as they might have stared directly at the camera or gotten in the way. There would also be many continuity errors as the people in the crowd would keep changing meaning our opening would be less effective and believable.
